Sustainability: Konica Minolta compensates CO2 emissions

Konica Minolta implements a "Carbon Neutral Printing" program to reduce its environmental footprint and environmental sustainability, allowing its customers to do the same.

Konica MInolta bets on environmental sustainability

In recent years, the environmental impact on business has come to bear a substantial weight. Konica Minolta has been a pioneer in environmental and sustainability concerns and has implemented the "Carbon Neutral Printing" program, which is an initiative to reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions from printing.
The program is available for office and professional printing systems, offering customers an end-to-end solution to environmental protection by enabling them to calculate, reduce and compensate for their ecological footprint.
Konica Minolta is currently contributing to a carbon offset project from Gold Standard, in partnership with Climate Partner, for wind power in Vader Piet, Aruba. Through the use of the island's wind resources, the project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 152,783 tons of CO2 per year. In addition to this carbon offsetting effect, support for Aruba's wind power project has very positive effects at the local level, such as job creation, infrastructure upgrading and air quality improvement.
